Weshine® VLF Test Set is a compact, robust and portable VLF sine wave test system for medium voltage cables. As an ideal tool for routine cable testing. For 0.1Hz sine wave voltage test and rectangular or DC voltage test, the test kit meets the highest requirements for test voltage quality and stability. In addition, the integrated "breakdown detection" will turn off the test voltage in the event of excessive charging current and ensure limited damage to the cable. Consistent single-button operation combined with complex operating concepts allows rapid and targeted use of the system.

Since the VLF test provides an operating frequency of 0.1Hz instead of the 50/60Hz usually required for field transmission, the physical size of the VLF test device is greatly reduced. Crucially, the test object still receives the AC sinusoidal voltage provided by daily use, but the size of the test equipment is much smaller.
